Wanchako Palo Santo

Artisan Incense — Huanchaco, Peru

Wanchako is a family run collective based in Huanchaco, on Peru’s northern coast. Their work is rooted in reverence for the land, crafting ecological incense that honors both tradition and sustainability.

Each stick is made from naturally fallen Palo Santo trees (Bursera graveolens) that have rested on the forest floor for 3–4 years, allowing the wood to mature and develop its rich, aromatic properties. This practice is certified by SERFOR, Peru’s Ministry of Agriculture, ensuring ethical and sustainable harvesting.

The result is a deeply grounding incense, handcrafted by local artisans, that brings the sacred essence of Palo Santo into your space.
