A New Way to Meditate
One of the most beautiful ways to cultivate inner peace is through meditation. Unlike guided audio meditations, a written meditation allows you to go at your own pace, trust your intuition, and deeply connect with the words in a way that feels right for you. It gives you the freedom to pause, reflect, and fully immerse yourself in the experience, making it a deeply personal and grounding practice—a beautiful way to connect with your higher self.
Close your eyes and take a deep breath in. Now, I want you to visualise yourself sitting directly in front of you. Strange, right? But stay with me. Give yourself a little wave, a soft smile. This isn’t a reflection in a mirror—it’s you, seen through the eyes of your higher self, the part of you that already knows peace, love, and alignment.
Breathe in through your nose, feeling the air travel up through your nasal passage, down your throat, and into your belly. Watch your belly expand, filling with fresh energy. Now exhale slowly and intentionally, let go of anything that no longer serves you. Do this three times so you are fully present in your body.
With each inhale, picture a golden light surrounding you, filling you with warm, loving energy. With each exhale, release tension, fear, or stress. Watch them dissolve, floating away effortlessly.
Look deeply into your higher self’s eyes and repeat this mantra—or allow it to evolve into one of your own:
"I am love. I love myself. I am love."
Let these words sink into every cell of your being. Feel them dissolve self-doubt, replacing it with warmth, acceptance, and pure love.
As you continue breathing, notice how you and your higher self-begin to merge, becoming one. There is no separation. The peace you feel within is now expanding beyond you and out into the universe.
When you feel ready, gently bring your awareness back. Wiggle your fingers, move your toes, and when you’re ready, open your eyes. Pause and notice how you feel.
This meditation trains you to find moments of peace whenever and wherever you are. Not all meditations need to be done in a quiet space; they can be practiced while walking, sitting on a train—wherever you have a moment to shift part of your mind toward your higher self.
This is a powerful technique to integrate, especially for those times when you don’t have an hour to fully immerse in meditation but still need to reconnect with yourself and your higher self. Through regular practice, your intuition will strengthen, and you will develop a deeper connection with yourself.
