ELMNT Earth began with a single box of Palo Santo from Peru.
The quality and aroma were unlike anything I had come across, so I travelled to its source: the Palo Santo forest in Piura, in northern Peru, and Huanchaco, on the coast, where our incense is made.
In Huanchaco I met René, the maker behind our incense, and watched the process from start to finish. The wood is gathered only from naturally fallen Palo Santo, then each stick is pressed by hand. Seeing that care firsthand became the foundation of ELMNT Earth.
Today we bring that same Palo Santo to Australia, sourced directly from the people who make it.
Aura Mist
The journey also introduced me to pure Palo Santo essential oil. It inspired our Aura Mist, handcrafted in Australia, for the moments when burning incense isn’t practical.
The name
ELMNT is spelled without its vowels on purpose. It comes from the initials of my three children, and it stands for the natural elements that ground us.
What we believe
The smallest rituals can have the greatest impact. Everything we make or choose is there to bring calm, presence and a deeper connection to the Earth.
