Where is your Palo Santo sourced?
Our Palo Santo is handcrafted by Wanchako in Huanchaco, northern Peru. Every product is made using naturally fallen Palo Santo wood, following traditional methods that honour both the forest and the local communities.
Is your Palo Santo ethically sourced?
Yes. Our Palo Santo comes only from naturally fallen trees and branches. No living trees are cut down. Harvesting is regulated under Peru's SERFOR forestry authority, helping to protect the species and preserve its natural ecosystem.

Do you cut down living Palo Santo trees?
No. Genuine Palo Santo should never come from living trees. The wood is collected only after trees or branches have naturally fallen and naturally matured, allowing the rich aroma to fully develop before harvesting.
What is SERFOR?
SERFOR (Servicio Nacional Forestal y de Fauna Silvestre) is Peru's National Forestry and Wildlife Service. It regulates the sustainable harvesting and export of Palo Santo to help protect Peru's forests for future generations.
