Crafted in Northern Peru
Our Palo Santo begins in the dry forests of Piura, northern Peru, where it is sourced with respect for the land, the people and the natural cycle of the tree.
Rather than cutting living trees for production, naturally fallen, well-aged Palo Santo wood is collected and allowed the time it needs to develop the aromatic resins the wood is known for.
From Piura to Huanchaco
Once collected, the Palo Santo travels from Piura to the coastal town of Huanchaco, where the wood is milled and handcrafted into incense using traditional methods.
It is a process shaped by generations of local knowledge — connecting the forests where Palo Santo grows with the communities who continue to work with it today.
Giving Back to the Forest
Sustainability is about more than what we take from the land. It is also about what we return.
We work closely with local farmers and communities involved in replanting Palo Santo trees and supporting the regeneration of the natural forests where they grow.
Our sourcing and forestry practices follow the requirements established by SERFOR, Peru’s National Forest and Wildlife Service, helping ensure Palo Santo is sourced responsibly and with consideration for the future of these forests.
By supporting reforestation alongside responsible harvesting, the aim is simple: to leave more growing than we take.
